6. Make a copy of the white sheet of paper with all the rebate materials on it (write on it the day that you mail it out).
7. Place that sheet in the stamped envelope and mail it out.
When you say "Place that sheet in the envelope", it is somewhat unclear whether you are referring to the original white sheet or the copy you made in step 6. Now that I reread it more carefully, "that sheet" does seem to refer to the original sheet, but it could be taken either way.

I'm just sending in the UPC sticker that is on the shrinkwrap and not cutting the box up. Despite what the clerk at the store said, I have always received my rebate using the shrinkwrap UPC.

I got one poster from them today but the guy said to call back on tuesday next week and if they still had some left he would give me any of the remaining posters I wanted. I do like the Customer Service at this FYE but it is not exactly close for me. These guys seem knowledgable and often are helpful.
Plus they understand the whole widescreen debacle.

I meant to place the original in the envelope, not the copy but I'll add the word "Original" into the first post.

Not being argumentative, just trying to clarify.
For the record, I submitted the originals with my recent rebates - but I figured if they take the sticker UPCs, they might take copies.

1) You were the one who started arguing with me on the tax thing (and were wrong, may I add), so I find it amusing that you call me argumentative.
2) You were the one who found it necessary to make a smart-assed reply to me here.
3) If I am such an argumentative SOB, why do you continue to reply to my posts?

When I was looking at the posters the guy said they'd just gotten them in so he'd give me two.
I know the other store earlier in the week didn't mention posters when I talked with them about a pre-order.
Sadly Mrs. Pusser was right by the store today but didn't know where it was in the mall. She was thinking of picking it up but didn't get me on the phone.
I'll need to make a trip to that store since it's about 15 minutes away and I'm rarely in the area. There are two closer to me but they close early.

Hey db27 (or anyone else in the know):
I went to the downtown Manhattan FYE (store #578) the other day to buy Angels in America ($29.99 with $7 rebate). I used a store credit to pay for it, and asked for a reprint of the receipt to use for the rebate. The manager refused to do it, claiming that if he did a reprint, I would be able to use the credit twice. I told him to just write "credit void" on the reprint like other managers have done for me many, many times in the past. He just kept saying no. Then he said, "They won't accept a reprint of the receipt for the rebate anyway." I told him they have and will, and that in fact they will even accept a photocopy of the receipt. To that he also said no. Whatever. I was so disgusted with his ignorance and condescension that I turned around and returned the DVD on the spot (I'll pick it up somewhere else).
Do you know if store #578 is franchised or corporate? If it's corporate, I'd like corporate to know that this guy who's running one of their stores doesn't know store policy from a hole in the ground. How would I go about filing a complaint in a manner that is actually heard? Thanks for your advice.

some useful info
I can confirm the rebate for SW is still $15, even after Tuesday, I must say I can't believe they didn't lower it.
Also, starting thursday Return of the Living Dead will be the $7.99 DVD wit any purchase.. There will be about 30 horror DVD's at $9.99 as well.
Beyond that the music DVD sale is continuing with many ridiculous prices. I haven't read through here to see if anything has been mentioned yet. It might be worth its own thread, I'll have to pull together a list.
Let me know if anyone thinks there would be interest.

You are a loudmouth who gets into arguments with everybody. You also love the sound of your own voice and feel the need to always get the last word in. Please prove me wrong on that too.

You two need to take this outside. I hate to butt in but I tire of hearing crap like this and you're both in violation of the TOS of this site which can cause you to be banned. Hate to see that happen.

You're 100% right Kayak - and I apologize for making everyone else wade through this stuff - I just have a hard time sitting here and doing nothing when personally attacked.
I long ago decided not to reply to Lecithin's posts, it's a pity he can't seem to do the same.

NYC, I really didn't want to get involved but it was continuing and I don't liek to see people being banned except for very good reasons.
Personally I would not take a personal attack either. I would probably respond once then let it go.
Thanks!

Does anyone have scan or webpage from Girl Next Door rebate or Lion King 2 rebate? Long story... Suffice it to say coffee and inkjet print don't go together well.
Thanks,
