Thanks, TheNightFlier. I endured a whole episode of House and never got to see that cos Fox Caribbean pre-empted all the commercial spots for the same damn Medalla Lite commercial.
So is the third extended TV spot up? No way I was gonna watch American Idol and risk the same thing happening to me again.

Re: Wolverine - Solo
As for wether Wolverine and Sabretooth are related, I found the following bits of information over at Wikipedia:
You can read the rest here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sabretooth_(comics)
So basically they ran with the Dog is actually Sabretooth angle. I'm cool with that since the movies don't (and don't really need to) follow the comics 100%.
Chris Claremont had meant for Sabretooth to be Wolverine's father, though this was disproved by subsequent writers. Claremont, when asked what he had intended to be the relationship between Wolverine and Sabretooth, stated:
Father and son. That's why Sabretooth always considered Logan "sloppy seconds" to his "original" / "real deal." The other critical element in my presentation of their relationship was that, in their whole life, Logan has never defeated Sabretooth in a knock-down, drag-out, kill-or-be-killed berserker fight. By the same token, on every one of his birthdays, Sabretooth has always managed to find him, no matter where Logan was or what he was doing, and come within an inch of killing him. For no other reason than to remind him that he could."
In Wolverine Vol. 2 #42, tests performed by S.H.I.E.L.D. confirmed that Sabretooth and Wolverine were not father and son.
An interviewer asked Paul Jenkins if the character Dog Logan, a character from Wolverine's early life, from the limited series Origin was Sabretooth. Paul Jenkins said he had not intended it to be him, but said he wouldn't have a problem with another writer doing it later.

Re: Wolverine - Solo
Well, the trailers seem to be cool enough. I just got a little more excited for this one, but I'm not holding out too much hope since, you know, it is Fox and all.

I hope Deadpool won't shut the fuck up. It's the only way to do the character justice. Still wondering how
comes into the whole history of the film series...hrm

My favorite visual regarding Deadpool is his mask. Something tells me Ryan Reynolds's pretty mug will have a lot more "face time" than the mask...

If Deadpool never goes full costume, I'm boycotting. The leaked toy image shows him maskless so I'm really worried at this point.

I just want to see at least a fucked up face...Yeah, I want a mask too. BUT if he doesn't get a fucked up face I'm going to be so sad, no matter how good Reynolds is..it's just to much of the character..excluding the mask.

Re: Wolverine - Solo
I quit reading comics right around the time that Deadpool was introduced, and I've never read a comic with him in it (other than the "Ultimate" line of Marvel books, which take place...aahhh, don't get me started).
Anyway, my point is...I know nothing about him; he seems, to me, like a secondary character anyway; mask or no, I just hope it's a good story.

I must say, for someone who likes the first one, loves the second, and hates the ever-loving shit out of the third...this actually is gearing up to be quite awesome. And it's surprising given the last film didn't even look good from the trailers; this shows promise immediately, and I'm feeling more optimistic that Fox got their head out of their ass and took a page from The Dark Knight for a (hopefully) dark, edgy PG-13.

Filmschoolrejects.com - X-Men Origins: Wolverine screws up Deadpool
This does NOT look good. Looks nothing like Deadpool. Looks like FOX strikes again.
