I played w/ those cheesy as hell GI Joe figures...I enjoyed the cartoons though I can't watch them now cuz..well...you know..it's pretty bad. THOUGH given the cast...and giving me balls to the wall action? I'm there. Or..I'm more open to being there.

I played with the toys, watched the cartoon (and can still enjoy it today), and had a blast with the first movie. So far my only gripe with this one is that certain cast members aren't returning. Otherwise, this is shaping up to be a fun ride.

I liked the first one enough. My only real gripes were Snake-Eyes having a mouth and cargo-pants (which I hear they fixed), Wayans being there (fixed), and robot battle suits (hopefully fixed).
I like the rotating cast concept idea and I even don't mind Tatum since he did a nice job in Eagle. I'm looking forward to this.

I'm cool with a rotating cast (how else do you get the other Joes in there?) but I want some actual acknowledgment (say they're on a mission elsewhere) or at least cameos from the previous characters.

...I just want to see awesome shit blow up and a neat story (really hoping on that one). the 1st one had a boring story..and the 2nd time I saw the film...it didn't hold up well for me.

"Met the whole cast today 4 G.I JOE 2. Everyone is Awesome! Met The Rock today. He is awesome. I'm a big fan of his. Super nice gentleman!!"
Apparently, The Rock is popular with everyone. First it was Channing Tatum, now Ray Park.
Hopefully, we'll hear more news as the momentum picks-up

I'm excited for this movie. Even though it gets panned, I enjoyed the first one. I recognize it's not the best movie, but it was fun popcorn fair. It was my transformers, but it seems like they're going in the direction I really want for the sequel. Bring it on, bitches!
I do hope they just recast the role of Cobra Commander, if there is going to be a third. I dig JGL, but I'd like to see a more traditional CC.

The Rock posted a pic in full costume.
Variety has learned that Walton Goggins, best known for his roles on the FX series The Shield and Justified, has been added to the lineup of G. I. Joe: Retaliation. While the trade doesn't include any details about the role, Goggins will be playing an original character named Warden Nigel James.
Looks like bullets continue to fly down in St. Francisville, LA with filming of the second live action G.I. Joe Movie Retaliation. Today an exciting bit of news out of the filming base camp "The Sand PIT" brings us news or rumor that Lt Falcon will join the ever growing list of GI Joe Team Members for the upcoming GI Joe Retaliation.
