Masterminding what? It sounds like a marketing gimmick, which is the kind of thing he does better than almost anyone. It isn't different from any other trailer ever made, that's my point. The whole prospect of specially attaching it to specific movies seems kind of pointless when anyone can see it online, is all I'm saying.
at JJ for something that had a.) nothing to do with the topic at hand, and b.) had nothing to do with JJ. I was more confused than anything.
And I 100% guarantee you that JJ has nothing whatsoever to do with the OOT, I agree completely. My point was, that would be a far more exciting prospect to me than this trailer. Even if it could be withheld, I could just see it online the next week when it got officially released.

prediction: first shot of teaser will be on Tattooine with old Luke in same shot as the iconic sun staring shot.

it didn't look real, but it did look awesome. if they got Adam Driver in there it would have rocked so much!

It would be funny if all of the scenes with Luke, Leia, Han and Chewy were left on the cutting room floor during editing.

See, I think the last shot of the teaser will be Daisy Ridley saying "wake up" (as reported) and we'll see a shot of Luke in a Jedi robe and his eyes will open (ala JJ's LOST pilot). Maybe he'll flick on his lightsaber too.

Her role is probably minor since it didn't warrant a press release, but it's being reported that Jessica Henwick (soon to be seen on Game of Thrones) is in the movie:

Well considering that Regal Cinemas put out a statement that basically made it sound that way I don't think people who thought that was going to be the case were exactly off base. Its just now been clarified.

I guess I'm not understanding your point. I've acknowledged it already and don't really care. Its been clarified that it will be on iTunes and not only a limited release like the Regal Cinemas press release first made it sound like. Whatever regardless I'm excited to see it.
