Affleck is pretty good there as Wayne. I generally like him and have never had a problem with him so much despite my feelings about the film thus far. Still not sure about Irons as Alfred though.

In regards to Irons, if he doesn't go over the top (a la Dungeons and Dragons, albeit it was a hilarious thing to watch), I think he'll do fine. Seems like he'll be the stern father-figure type, attempting to bring reason to Wayne who is clearly (and rightfully) upset.

Wayne saying that thousands died during Superman's battle with Zod in MoS kinda shuts up those "oh the city was evacuated" defenders.
And reading back through the MoS thread, apparently I liked the movie a lot more than I do now. I do think that at the time I was willing to overlook its flaws and I ended up buying it on Blu because my wife hadn't seen it so I've watched it a few times since then. I stand by my opinion that Cavill was a good choice, but the movie is just...boring. And loses the spectacle of the big screen I think I got caught up in.
As of now my only interest in BvS is to see Affleck, Cavill and Gadot, as I think they are all great choices for their roles.

Not sure how many of those defenders there were. Seemed to be a fair number of those killed were a result of Zod's terraforming machine which collapsed many buildings before Superman and Zod even began fighting.

Yeah. I don't think there could have been many people defending that Metropolis was evacuated. I've never seen anyone use that reasoning either. Anyone here do that? W/ the way the film shows it... if you made it out of it... you were lucky. Undoubtedly many died there just by the volume of destruction was there. Using our history w/ massive scale violence/destruction happening... many people don't get out. The time to respond that well and quickly just doesn't exist for massive situations like that. It's a hope for the best type of thing.

I watched the commercial with Clark Kent seemingly going after Batman because he's a vigilante, thinking that man they made him look like a prick. Then later in the football game they showed a second commercial with Batman going after Superman because if there's even a 1 percent chance he can go bad, well, he needs to die. Who am I rooting for again? Wonder Woman?
And there were absolutely people who argued that nobody died in Metropolis. I guess when you can dodge falling skyscrapers...
The worst thing about MOS to me is still Pa Kent. His "maybe" line and him telling his son to let him die because people are bad.

I don't know guys, I think Affleck is WAAAAAAAAAAAY over-the-top in those clips. I think his acting (from what little I've seen) looks awful in this.
Cavill's looks fine, however.

I think he had the right intensity in the new promo where he and Alfred are talking in the Batcave. He definitely seemed to be in Batman mode there and while I can agree it does seem a bit much and maybe a tad overacted given the context of the film it makes sense. I didn't care for the earlier stuff with Affleck's portrayal of Wayne in public with Clark at Lex's party. I think the #WhoWillWin thing is kind of silly when they basically have given away that the actual fight isn't going to mean much and that they wind up teaming up to take down Lex and company. Not that we all expected them to not reconcile by the end of the film but it was poorly marketed to give that away so early on.

MArketing has given way too much info. SupesV BAts should be the only thing selling this. Now we know they actually are teaming up (w/WW). "Who will win" does seem silly.

^ Looks like we've seen most of that footage already; only thing that looks new is Diana on the airplane.

Given the shot, doesn't that line up with the "Knightmare" sequence that had creatures people were speculating were from Darkseid too?

Cavill will hopefully be a more interesting Superman in this movie than in his debut.

That photo of Batman and the Darkseid symbol is the first thing i have really liked so far from everything shown for this movie.

I am curious to know the context. We assume it's a nightmare sequence so who is giving it to Bruce? Also, it makes a bit of sense seeing the symbol when we also saw the Parademons in there as well.
Oh, and I have no idea why whomever posted those pics couldn't have taken scans or something.
