I'm guessing the Bruce Wayne:Batman ratio will change dramatically in future films. Nolan made a concerted effort to flesh out Wayne as a character in Batman Begins, which gave the movie emotional weight missing in previous Batman films. WB just knows that Batman is kewl so we probably won't see as much emphasis on Bruce Wayne going out. Also it seems like they're going forward with the Justice League, and there isn't much reason for Bruce Wayne to interact with the other members of the JL as opposed to Batman.

It's fairly uncommon for Justice League stuff in the comics or to delve too much into the alternate identities of the characters in my experience, it's probably hard enough to deal with the dynamics of the characters just t themselves.

Man Of Steel brought nothing new to the the table, I had high expectations but was let down. Hopefully the new film will be better having Superman and Batman teaming up together

You know Superman can actually run around the Earth so quickly he can go travel through time so why doesn't he just do that and save Pa Kent.

Also, more serious question what the fuck were Lantern Corps doing while Zod was destroying Earth? I know from reading the comics a couple of Lanterns are Kryptonians or Daxams (which is basically the same and Krypton). I hope that's explained but I'm sure it won't be. I mean if you are going to add a Lantern into the mix.

I disagree. We finally got to see a superhero saving normal people(school bus, oil rig, etc) again instead of just fighting bad guys on some grand scale*. I'm probably in the minority but I love that kind of stuff. The plane rescue in Superman Returns, the tram rescue in Spider-man, etc. Good stuff.


*of course the dozens he saved was negated by the hundreds probably killed in the destruction of the city.

Thinking about it, that makes sense.

It's the SvsB movie we are discussing here, but apparently (according to the "sources") The Justice League movie is being shot at the same time and is directly tied in to a cliffhanger ending of SvsB
