Anyone that expects something besides Disturbed on Tuesday has been deluding themselves for the last month or so. There will be at least 2 Disturbed songs released on 6/3 for the new album. Seems likely they'll just throw a 3rd on there from a previous album. I can't name a Disturbed song for the life of me, but I'm sure there's a "popular" one.

Now it is possible there will be 5 songs released, the 2 Disturbed and 3 unannounced, but I just don't see that happening. The only thing it has going for it is the BB code is for 2 Disturbed songs (320 points) and not a 3-song pack (440 points). Of course that may just be a way to get us to pay the full price for the "one song we already know" from Disturbed.

Anyway... 6/3 is my 30th birthday and I had been hoping for a nice present from Harmonix. Guess they don't love me like I love them.
Hmmm...

Did they send out that email? i pre-ordered the cd through that link a week or two ago. I got a shipping notice today and have not received any email stating any codes for song downloads. Unless they are in the cd package themselves.

People on CAG who ordered when it first went up never got their codes, but people who ordered as late as this week got their codes immediately.

I pre-ordered it the day it went up and never got a code and eventually canceled it when Harmonix said that the DLC would be available for purchase around the same time for everyone. I don't care enough about Disturbed to own the album, but I'll have no second thoughts on picking up their songs as DLC.

This is the response I got from Best Buy this past Sunday when I emailed them about it:

I'm ***** from the Best Buy customer care Team. How are you doing? hope you are having a great day.
I was just checking about the disturbed CD promotion, and as is shown on the webpage, the codes will be sent to you on June 3rd to redeem your bonus tracks for Xbox 360 RockBand.
You can check about this by going to www.disturbed1.com Please wait for the codes, you will receive them for sure.
Any time you have a problem, please contact us back ******.

Canis, I hate to tell you this but after reading CAG's thread on it and no codes yet, I started to worry. I ordered it the first week this was offered and had received no codes. I called and canceled my order with BB today and reordered it on their website just as I did before. Got the code about a half hour later via email.

Looks like they didn't have it set up properly to send the codes out for us early buyers. There is just one code and you have to go to a certain link to input it. I followed the link and it said that you can input the code on 6-3-08 to choose your two songs.

ugh.. that kind of sucks as I didn't read about it until today and my cd shipped already.

I guess I could re-order it and just return the first one that shows up.

Stupid Best Buy not having their system set up properly.

Got my kit replaced again and finally made it thru Run to the Hills on Expert, what a rush! AN-I-MAL!!!

Too bad I got an EL set again, for the third time. I suppose it's just a matter of time until it breaks again.

Thanks. I nearly had a perfect run on Expert, but I screwed up the last fill in the song and lost my combo.

You mentioned your red pad being wonky - are you going to get your kit replaced?

I know it's a little late, but I finally got the Cars' drums vids updated into the DLC post. The guy I was getting them from seems to not be getting all the DLC anymore, or is slacking off. I added in another subscription of a guy who seems to be more on the ball, and a better drummer overall.

Yeah, because I can now hit some longer rolls consistently, and to lose the combo because of the pad sucks I'll likely submit it today.

Hope you get your replacement kit quickly. You're already giving me a run for my money on these songs, and I imagine your scores will go up when you have a fully functioning kit.

Bah...just discovered a huge crack in my yellow drum. I submitted my RMA, and since I really don't play them hard enough or often enough to actually break them, I hope not to get any static.

I really hope the rumored "2.0" instruments are going to turn out better.

What are these 2.0 instruments you speak of?

According to this thread: http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?t=52985

the DLC list was accidentally posted early and then quickly removed. This could all be a joke or misunderstanding, so take it with a grain of salt:

"Margaritaville" by Jimmy Buffett (master - new original recording)
"Cheeseburger in Paradise" by Jimmy Buffett (master - new original recording)
"Volcano" by Jimmy Buffett (master - new original recording)
"Indestructible" by Disturbed (master)
"Inside the Fire" by Disturbed (master)
"Perfect Insanity" by Disturbed (master)

80 pts per Disturbed track and 160 pts per Jimmy Buffett track.

JB & Disturbed confirmed!

Ready to get your head spinning? This week are we really covering the spread. First we have a three pack of songs from Jimmy Buffett for $1.99 each (160 Microsoft Points) or $5.49 (440 Microsoft Points) for the pack. Jimmy Buffett rerecorded the three songs for exclusive use in Rock Band, turns out he really digs the game.

Also along for the ride this week is the long-awaited Disturbed three-pack of songs from their new album INDESTRUCTIBLE. Best Buy recently announced they are partnering with MTV Games and Hamonix to offer Disturbed fans the opportunity to download two free tracks from the band’s highly anticipated new album, INDESTRUCTIBLE. By pre-ordering the album at www.BestBuy.com/disturbed, fans will receive instructions to download title track “Indestructible” and “Inside The Fire” for Rock Band from Xbox Live. Both of those songs will also be available to all Rock Band owners on 360 and PS3 along with a third track from the album "Perfect Insanity". Each Disturbed track will be available for $.99 per track (80 Microsoft Points) for a limited time, or $2.99 (240 Microsoft Points) for the three pack.

Tracks are as Follows-

"Margaritaville" by Jimmy Buffett (master - new original recording)
"Cheeseburger in Paradise" by Jimmy Buffett (master - new original recording)
"Volcano" by Jimmy Buffett (master - new original recording)
"Indestructible" by Disturbed (master)
"Inside the Fire" by Disturbed (master)
"Perfect Insanity" by Disturbed (master)

Alright, I am seriously geeked. SRSLY. I hope these rank on the good scale of re-recordings, but I might be setting the old alarm clock early regardless.

Holy shit, Jimmy Buffet. While I'm not a fan, I can see this being a HUGE hit for the party vibe of the game as well as for folks like my dad who just love the shit out of that beach bum.

I will definitely pick up the Jimmy Buffett pack as long as they sound about the same as the originals.
