Dollar for dollar, I'll always take a physical copy over digital. When there are zero dollars involved, well, I'll take whatever I'm given.

Brack, I've pretty much adopted the same mentality. I was ALL digital for most of the year, but I've relaxed that a bit. I've only purchased 4 physical games. Wolfenstein, COD:AW, Halo, and Alien. The first two, I've completed, and they're going to BB for trade-in today. Alien is up next. Halo, I'll probably play all the SP stuff, then trade it in, and re-buy digitally when it's on sale.

I can see why someone would prefer physical copies in the bundle over digital, but as mentioned the digital copies can be resold too and at least they're free, so its not too bad. I can see digital copies being a lot easier to "bundle" for these editions, so i'm not surprised at that's how they're provided. I wouldn't call them bullshit though.

All except EA anyway. They seem all-in on EA Access. I wonder how that's working out, revenue-wise, for them.

The $379 Walmart online Black Friday (actually Thursday) bundle actually doesn't seem like a terrible deal. It's the Halo bundle, a year of Live, and an extra game (choices seem to be limited to either Madden 15 or NBA 2K15). I wish they had a few more options for the bonus games since I'm not a sports game guy, but it's a good amount of stuff for the price.

At least that will be a physical game, you should be able to return it.

Maybe for Year Two, we'll get a Day One version of Internet Explorer! Or a Day One extension cord for the Kinect! Or a Day One tattoo for our avatars! The possibilities are end-- nah, they end there.

Never Alone has been announced for a fall release, will cost $14.99. Looks beautiful and offers a unique perspective with a familiar style of gameplay.

It's also currently discounted to $13.49 for Gold members. Not a huge discount, but hey. I'm debating it myself (would be an insta-buy at $9.99).

Reviews for the game seem mixed; the art style is beautiful though and i'm really intrigued by the setting.

I normally agree, I bought FH2 as digital though since it's a great game to just fire up while waiting for other stuff. Not having to constantly pop that disc in is great.

Is there some site where you can see everything you've purchased off Xbox Live, not just the stuff you actually paid for? PSN shows you all the transactions.

You think we'll ever see the day with a digital store. To sell and buy used digital games in some type of market place form?
