Read the Patch notes...this is total B.S....pretty much everything in this list is part of my Barbarian Whirlwind Build...and Barbs have been hit the hardest since day one....I'll have to pull up comments or see what some YouTubers are going to say...or adjust....Aspect of Disobedience is a crucial part....as Cooldown, Crit Damage and Vulnerable which is actually just as important or even more than Crit....this is seriously bad ....

This site is where I go alot and has some pretty smart players who cruch a lot of numbers....they have a breakdown of this patch and frankly, doesn't look good especially for Defense...

I've read and looked at forums and articles all over...yet seen any YouTube Videos...on the latest patch and yea, majority are up in arms yet almost some are ok....I've seen stuff like this before, Widespread nerfs....be it Diablo, Path of Exile, destiny, Elder Scrolls, etc...and after dust settled some still found ways to to play and win. ...look, the game is barely Six Weeks Old and everyone knew there was going to be patches, fixes, tweaks, nerfs, buffs left and right early on...and most say they'll be more coming down the road.

I'm still going to play...it's a diablo game and I played last night and still had fun, still killed enemies, still got loot.....blizz is just trying to keep some of this insane runs, insane damage numbers and doing 60 sec T4 Mega Boss kills solo out of the game.....that's not how D4 should be played and they've said so just like cheaters found ways to ruin D3, they don't want D4, especially being only SIX WEEKS OLD to suffer the same fate.....you can pretty much thank all those YouTubers who can play & farm for specific gear, then showcase it for the whole world bragging about how they dealt a Million Damage and how they killed Ulber Lilth in 60seconds solo.....the Devs said this in a interview with Dualshockers they do watch those videos... I'm going to try Season just to get away from the normal game which is not going anywhere and try something different outside my Barbs...one a Whirlwind and other a Thorn Frenzy.....the fact that Season actually has a story of sorts vs in D3 it was a small theme, going after cosmetics but essentially you just jumped into Adventure and ran Rifts and Greater Rifts with little to no story or purpose...

...and talking to Kevin 9Silver) last night we agreed that yea, the patch hurrts but stuff like this comes and goes, more will come and we can just play and adopt...he and kanjji are doing season, I will now, not sure on Tim and haven't seen Lumpy nor N9 on in awhile...Six Weeks people and we got years to go, think about it...

I jumped on last night when I got a notification for a world boss and didn't really notice any change, I think the only thing they nerfed for the twisting blade rogue is the cooldown time for Dash.

I wanted to run the season as a Barb or Necro and looking at the guide looks like Necro will be the best option.

I'm pretty pissed that they nerf the sorceress. I just hit 50 with my Ice Shards Blizzard built and no way I'm going to T3 or T4 with this build.

After playing only as a Rogue, switching to a Necromancer feels like you’re playing in slow motion at first.

I’m going with the Sever Necro and have it up to 13 on WT 2 so far and surprisingly haven’t died once yet

Rogue's by all accounts came out as the least hit with 1.1.0.....Certain Class Builds got hit; Necro Bone Spear, Druids Shred/Shapeshifting, Barb's Hammer of Ancients & part of Whirlwind and Sorc's all important Aspect of Devouring Blaze....While Necro's Bone Spear got hit, Blood, corpse and even Minion Builds got some buffs. Despite Sorc's getting hit hard, I still opted to go with them for Season play. It's been my least played class during normal play...my Main Barb(Whirlwind) is 80, 2nd Barb (Thorns- frenzy) is 60, Druid is 52 and Rogue and Necro are low 40's...Sorce stuck at 20. I haven't quite found the build yet going back and forth with Ice Shards and Chain Lighting but only Level 24....as of now experimenting with a all-out Cold Build though I might end up with a Fire Build since some Fire Skills got buffs.... here's a full list for Sorc's after 1.1.0.... Play Druid or Barb...they're Turtles in the game. When I play with Friends I'm always last (Barb)...I joke that's because as Barb I'm carrying around 200lbs in weapons alone (2 Two-Hand and 2 One-Hand)...but yea a bit more speed is great especially playing minion less builds but at least some skills to help slow down everything else

I tried a Shadow Damage with Sever and using Blighted Corpse, Mages dealing Cold, Decrepify Curse, Tendrils and Minions...Shadow damage is pretty good and often overlooked. A good build guide using Sever....

Yeah, that’s the guide I’m following. The shadow damage is really effective against bosses. I ran through the Lost Archives last night and had no problem with the boss at the end. I remembered it was a struggle with the rogue.

I finished the campaign on WT2. I’m level 58. The last battle wasn’t that tough at all. I started WT3. It’s definitely tougher but I’m not dying a lot. I finished a nightmare dungeon, too.

Should I keep going or should I start the seasonal stuff? I haven’t touched it yet. I basically run a necro with a 2h sword/scythe and use bone spears, corpse explosion, tendrils, and I forget what it’s called but it’s a rotating shield that protects you and hurts them.

I also sacrificed my mages and golem for more power and crits. It seems to be working fine.

The Season more or less just gives you another storyline that's a off-shoot of the main campaign...but there's some new stuff, new cosmetics, etc...it's like a break from the Main part basically. We're doing it and some of us are trying new characters....I with a Sorc after running a Barb(s), another has a Level 85 Sorc and she's trying a Necro...and after Season you do get to keep your Seasonal character if you wish....but you do have to finish main campaign though...

I'm doing the seasonal with the campaign again.

Doing a Bone Spear Minions Necro and still trying to figure out abilities to take, so have re-speced a couple times.

I have got gear with malignant heart sockets but have yet to get a heart yet.

I'm doing the seasonal, but not the campaign as twice is plenty.

Doing a Shaman, my other highish ones were sorcerer and necro so it's pretty different play. Got up to Nightmare yesterday (I held off until 47 to do it, but wasn't too bad at that point).

I partly did a Shaman because of how fast my sorcerer goes from full health to dead starting in Nightmare, but I actually died much more in normal on Shaman (I didn't die at all on normal sorc except once at low level and twice against Lilith because I stupidly didn't move out of her little instant death zone). A lot of that is me being careless, but so far, it does take me longer to beat stuff on the Shaman, so that is more time to die.

The new quest was over pretty early (it would have been even earlier than it was, but there is a little bit of it I had to level up for).

So if I wanted to do the seasonal stuff I could bring my 58 necro or I’d have to start a new level 1 necro?

You have to start a new character, but you don’t have to redo the main quest if you don’t want, and any parts of the map or lilith shrines you’ve found you don’t have to refind (but you do have to reclaim waypoints and strongholds).

Yesterday Diablo Devs had another "Fireside Chat"...Maxroll has a breakdown of the coming changes via patch 1.1.1 that is due August 2nd....and the changes will help Barbarians and Sorcerers. Skills are boring
Aspects are not interesting. A legendary dropping doesn't give that hit of dopamine because it's just a random rare with some boring aspect on it. 10% bonus damage on full moons during lent isn't an exciting aspect.
Respec-ing is such a slong that I just won't do it.
the grind from 50+ is unbearable
Dungeons are boring in a way that rifts never were. Tilesets are WAY too repetitive.
Getting back to town and having to go through inventory is such an ordeal, double so when playing couch co-op
The season mechanic is complete dogshit.

I have no desire to play a game I've been jonesing for for 10 years. We're so desperate from Couch CoOP ARPGs on the PS5 my partner is forcing me to keep playing

I changed my necro to an exploding shadow mist build with the Howl From Below gloves and I haven’t died since. It’s ridiculous how powerful it is. I was killing mobs 9-10 levels higher than me in nightmare tier 20’s. And this is with all minions and the golem sacrificed.

I got 4 free tier skips from Prime Gaming so I guess I have to log in and at least see what it gets me. I stopped when they made it harder but it seems they fixed necros a bit?

I almost died a handful of times. You have to pay attention to your health and surroundings. Notice I said powerful not easy.

I think it's BS to make a game harder after the customer bought it. You can make it an option, but I never thought they'd do this.

It’s very obvious that Diablo is not the right game for you. If you are looking for a “God mode” in a Diablo game then you are in for some disappointment. You either have to spend countless hours leveling up and finding the right gear. Blizzard has not made it pay to win yet on the consoles and PC. Try Diablo Immortal if that’s your thing.

I don't play P2W games with money, I have one mobile and one PC/console game P2W games I'm playing just by grinding. BTW so far I have almost 160 hours on Disney Speedstorm grinding. With the right game I love the grind.

I wish they'd do an offline mode you could use cheats on.

But at least don't make it harder, I don't think games should have their difficulty upped after they're bought.
