I think I’m 87 now. And I haven’t even played seasonal stuff. I want to get to 100 on my necro first.

Re: DIABLO IV: Xbox Consoles, PS Consoles & PC - 6/5/23

Soloed the capstone dungeon to get to T4 this morning at 68. Died twice at the boss fight, but got it the third time with 1/2 of my life vial land no potions left.

Frustrating part was fighting things 2 levels higher and watching your the bar to the next level barely move. May try T4 tonight, but my hand dead after that fight.

Good work...doing the Capstone early solo is no easy feat.....by the way we will be on later during the day, evening and tonight...three of us ran ND's last night...one hasn't played in awhile...was 72...and so we ran low level ND's at first in the 27-29 range. You're more than welcome to join, still need to seen a official invite to our Group Chat and the others want to send friend requests....I can do some ND's solo but it's a sort of waste since it's better in a group for both XP and as we say...Everyone Wins...getting loot, XP and bumping your Glyphs.....oh, what time zone?....I'm Central and the others are Eastern....

UPDATE...tried to send FR but says can't due to Player's Privacy Setting....so you can send one to me...and kanjji...if you like. Then we can try and get you in group chat....

I got friend requests from Kanjii and you and accepted them. I’m usually on between 5-8 central, but can make it on later,

I’ve been doing the legion events on T4 and my XP bar goes up almost 1/4 of the way each time so I’ll probably keep doing that for now.

Tried the helltide and got killed almost instantly. Playing a few hours in T4 and I’ve already upgraded all my gear and weapons.

I didn't see anything on the main PS Board...I did see and get the one thru game however. We still can't invite you on the Group Chat tied to PS Friends List.....legion Events are good but you'll get a ton of XP on The Whisper Tree. Where I'm at now, I get around 750K for turning in Whispers....but from 90 to 100 it's a serious crawl...I hit 94 last night. Yea, Helltide can be a bit tough early on. We would run in a group since it's far easier to get the resources with Mobs and Events. We could easily do 3-4 chests....I'm on briefly around 4-530, break for dinner and then on like 630 to 10 range. I sent a Whisper thru game last night if you need help but didn't hear back...

Finally got my seasons Druid to 100 yesterday, I had plans to respec (and saved stuff to do it) because my bear druid just can't kill fast enough to do level 100 dungeon (Highest I was able to do was 76, and just barely), but after doing tons and tons of Nightmare Dungeons and Helltides I'm taking a break, might be back or not.

Re: DIABLO IV: Xbox Consoles, PS Consoles & PC - 6/5/23

I realized I don't like Diablo and gave up. I'm looking at video games by year and the hits (Speedstorm, BG3, Starfield) got me enough hours to make up for the duds (for me) (Diablo, Lego 2K Drive). The overall spent amount was a good deal on the overall hours of enjoyment. I like this new way of looking at it and that way I don't have to spend hours on games I hate just to get "their hours" in. And each time I buy a game I hate and a game I love I learn things about what video games I like (this was my first real year into video games).

Re: DIABLO IV: Xbox Consoles, PS Consoles & PC - 6/5/23

Hit 100 Last night...probably could've done several night back but was waiting on friend to play and she hit 91 last night. The extra XP Buff along with getting a Group X Bonus along with the 5% Elixer XP made chugging thru leveling a lot easier....been a fun ride with Sorc that pretty much now has turned into my best overall character....she's come a long way from struggling to even hit avg damage numbers in the 20K area to now I see 200K to 500K avg and occasional 1-3 Million....stepping back, paying more attention and really looking hard into the numbers and setups really helped me out. A lot of stuff I assumed was ...Good for the Build...wasn't. I had to change my perspective of what a build Should Be and sort of ...Re-Learn...and it worked....

As to next Season, there seems to be a lot of building excitement on it. Other day article from some said they have so much content for Season 2 that they would need two Steams to Show 4hrs worth....it's been a bit quite over there last 2 weeks so, who knows.....I'm in an will probably do a Rogue Bow Build just to see....

I still haven’t played season one. In fact I haven’t touched the game since Starfield released

Re: DIABLO IV: Xbox Consoles, PS Consoles & PC - 6/5/23

Some of the changes that were announced that are coming.
  • Timers have been lowered so Legion Events and World Boss fights appear way more often.
  • Enemies have been raised to be at level after levels 55 and 75 in order to produce A) more of a challenge and B) more relevant rewards, as previously they’d be dropping items under your level in the world.
  • It now takes 40% less time to reach level 100, given XP changes.
  • Some of the most annoying Nightmare Dungeon modifiers have been nerfed including, Backstabbers, Critical Resist, Death Pulse, Lighting Storm and Drifting Shade. Nightmare Dungeons have been redesigned to feature way less backtracking through old areas, focusing on forward progression.
  • Gems are now a crafting material and will not take up inventory space.
  • In World Tier 4, Normal, Magic and Rare and Sacred Rare items will now drop directly into materials rather than be picked up in your inventory (auto-salvage)
  • There is now the ability to favorite items to prevent them from being salvaged or sold.
  • Renown now carries over all characters, eternal and seasonal, including all ranks like the final Paragon points.
  • Horses have been buffed in various ways, from being faster to getting stuck on environments less.

Re: DIABLO IV: Xbox Consoles, PS Consoles & PC - 6/5/23

Also adding 5 endgame bosses
  • Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint, who you challenge when you collect material in Helltides. In addition to his uniques, he can drop a new horse.
  • Echo of Varshan, who returns from last season, who you challenge after getting material from Tree of Whispers (which has undergone significant reward buffs). He drops a horse trophy.
  • The Beast in the Ice, who you challenge after gathering materials from Tier 30 or higher Nightmare Dungeons. He drops two different horse trophies.
  • Dark Master, get his materials from World Bosses or Legion Events. He has a crown cosmetic that’s the only actual armor cosmetic out of any of these.
  • Echo of Duriel – The story mode boss and Diablo legend returns as the ultimate final boss, which requires hours of assembly as you need the other bosses to drop his materials to summon him. He should not be as hard as Uber Lilith, but unlike the others he will indeed be level 100 and it’s a hard fight you may need teammates for. Again, he has the potential to actually drop uber uniques.

I actually kept playing for a bit to get a character up to 50 on Hardcore, which took way too long due to stupid things and playing when tired (I got one guy to 39 and decided to play until 40, it was late and I dozed off just a second).

Now I'm fully into Starfield though, so not sure whether I'll play more or not.

The video is almost two hours long....but as mentioned before there is a lot coming and when you start to follow this it's like, WOW...they've really gone the extra mile to add and change but the details alone can start to spin your head.....especially when you look at this is just One Season.....this sounds and looks more like something out of a Full Years Worth from Destiny or COD...seriously, it's a lot...

Re: DIABLO IV: Xbox Consoles, PS Consoles & PC - 6/5/23

yeah, I was actually impressed, they seem to be fixing a lot of the issues that I had with the game. One thing that's still not coming in season 2 is an easy way to switch between builds, but they did hint that they had something to announce next week about an ability to reset all skill/paragon points (possibly like those scrolls you got for finishing the season). That's something, I guess.

Re: DIABLO IV: Xbox Consoles, PS Consoles & PC - 6/5/23

Hello All

New Season is almost here and along with it are lots of changes especially with the ...Damage Buckets"...and how health, Armor and Resistances are being impacted that's really going to turn the past typical builds upside down; players will have to rethink, and redo builds from the way they've been done since the game came out. Two of the biggest changes is (A)...How Vulnerability and Crit Damage will be affected and works....and (B)...How health and Armor has been changed and how Elemental Resistances will now be a factor. Below are some videos to help understand some of the changes along with one on the Tier Lists for Build Suggestions factoring in what is known.

Re: DIABLO IV: Xbox Consoles, PS Consoles & PC - 6/5/23

Another well know Diablo YouTuber, Rhykker put out his Season 2 Tier List yesterday and like the others, a lot of this is made based on what they know about the classes and all the changes and Season 2 content....

These tier list videos aren't making me want to jump back in

I may try out a druid or a sorc. I tried out a necro in season 1, but lost interest in it when I hit lvl 40.

I should finish the campaign one day. I am close, but just lost interest. I played the hell out of Diablo III tho.

I put around 165 hours into this before I fell off, but I have to say I have not had ANY desire to go back to it. The long term addiction definitely hasn't grabbed me like it apparently does to most.

Re: DIABLO IV: Xbox Consoles, PS Consoles & PC - 6/5/23

I played a lot and enjoyed even though it does get repetitive, but the thought of starting a new character is not really appealing, and as soon as I hit 100 I had no desire to play that character again, partly because it has been so long since I actually got any equipment that was an upgrade.

I did login last night and make a rogue, but didn't feel like playing at all.
