I already see 1 local theater listing on Fandango with daily showings on 3/27. Looks like they're hoping to build up buzz for Easter weekend with a Wednesday release.

Interesting. I'm gonna post your findings over that thread. Let's see if Chris changes his tune. Cos he was ranting how it will suck due to the runtime and people should trust his runtime-based predictions.

I think Easter Weekend is a good move overall. Many public schools start or end their Spring Break with it, so it can capitalize on that aspect. However, hardly anyone goes to the movie on the Sunday itself so releasing it a day or two early is probably smart.
The only competition it faces is "The Host", which will only cut into this movie's target audience if the boyfriends are dragged to that one.

Ever since it was revealed to the world that there will be a Cobra Commander for the second G. I. Joe movie there were speculations of who that would be, since Joseph Gordon-Levitt declared that he won’t be coming back to G. I. Joe.
According to Comic Book Movie, when asked from Director Jon M. Chu he has replied "one actor is voicing him and another actor is in the suit".
Recently at an interview with Pop Sugar, actor Robert Baker revealed to the world that he is the new voice behind the iconic Cobra Leader. What started off as just lending his voice to a temp track (temporary audio file used in a movie during production in place of the final audio) it quickly gained the favor of the director who insisted Mr. Baker to lend his voice to Cobra Commander.
Finally, when CBM asked the director who is the man in the suit, he has replied it’s Luke Bracey. Whether Mr. Chu is kidding… we’ll just have to wait and see.

Screenrant has a 2 page article with on-set details. They also confirm that CC is voiced by Baker, and played by Bracey. This isn't surprising either, but he'll be wearing his mask the entire film.

I recently saw a TV spot that re-edited the "we're the only ones left" scene to make it seem as if Duke is actually around for it. Kind of hilarious to watch.
However, there was an additional brief shot of Duke walking down a dark hallway. I wonder if that's part of the reshoots.

Why is it that everytime any ad for this comes on, it's in SD? It's super bizarre. I've seen it on multiple channels that are in HD and it bugs me every time I see it.
