Looking at those The Phantom Menace soundtrack titles, I gotta ask...who the F is "Augie"? I'm sure someone's developed a whole huge back story for him. Did he ever appear on screen in the movie?

Pert took the young musikagung Augara "Augie" Jowil as his apprentice and instructed her until he retired. Despite Jowil's relative youth and inexperience, the members of the band unanimously elected her to be Pert's successor.

During 32 BBY's Invasion of Naboo, Jowil and the band evacuated the city of Otoh Gunga, along with the rest of the city's population, and fled from the invading Trade Federation to the Gungan sacred place. It was there Jowil got her chance to chronicle the historical event she never thought would come: the meeting of the Gungan Boss Rugor Nass and the Human Naboo led by Queen Padmé Amidala in order to regain freedom for the entire planet. Jowil composed the entire "Symponik Nabooalla," an epic for all of Naboo's denizens, in her head within days. The piece's first movement debuted during the Municipal Band's parade performance during the victory celebration in the capital city of Theed after the Naboo and Gungans successfully defeated the Trade Federation. The Band's performance was witnessed by representatives of the Galactic Republic such as Supreme Chancellor Palpatine and the Jedi Council. That ensured Jowil's place in history as one of the group's most important leaders.

What, you didn't know that? Guess you're not a very big Star Wars fan.

Also Luke is so distraught over Leia's death that he gets gender modification surgery and renames himself Leia.

Sure, for nerds like us on here. But for the millions of people who don't obsess over this shit, that's a pretty big whopper of a spoiler.

It's back to school season. Gotta get all the notebooks and T-shirts on the market so everyone knows which kids to beat up once classes start.

This also possibly reveals part of the opening crawl:

I'd LOL if that is the actual crawl. I want to see the confusion on people's faces when "This box contains everything two players need..." scrolls onto the screen.

I'm pretty sure the "part of the opening crawl" he was referring to was just the first paragraph. You know, the part that was italicized, and read like part of an opening crawl for a Star Wars movie and ends with a trailing ellipsis, rather than the remaining text, which is obviously a game description.

The X-Wing Miniatures game is ridiculous fun. Looks like they updated to core set. Cool beans. All these images were removed from the boards over at Fantasy Flight Games, presumably to CYA and not be held responsible for leaks.

Definitely. He mentioned in a new interview that he worked for seven months creating different concepts. No way he devoted that much time on just a convention promo.

Well, see it started about a year ago or more, a year and a half ago. I got a call from J.J. Abrams who I have never met, and he was in England shooting the film and he goes ‘Hi, I’ve always loved the work’ and Blah, Blah, Blah, sounding like you, you know, like a fanboy (laughs). And we were talking along and he just goes ‘…Well, would you?’ and I said ‘…If I was asked.’ And that was the conversation (laughs). By the end of it, there were no other words.

So about a year later, we get together and meet and he says we’re using all the original people – John Williams, Kasdan, Harrison Ford’s in it, everybody’s in it and everybody’s writing and making the music and we have to have your art to make it the real thing. So, of course, I’ve got to do it for George and I’ve got to do it for Star Wars. I’ve never worked with J.J before and so we started working on it and he showed me like half the movie and it was just… a wonderful film and I know it’s going to be grand. I got to read the script and subsequently I’ve seen half of it and I can tell you and the fans this, Honest to god, it is far and away probably going to be THE BEST Star Wars you’ve ever seen. It’s beautifully made and it’s a wonderful story.

Yes it is.

All Star Wars TFA merchandise is shut down until 9/4 and then stuff will be available in store or info.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015, Abrams) S: Hamill, Ford, Fisher

I was looking at the covers for the issues of Empire online today and for some reason the first thought that came to me was that Kylo Ren will turn out to be ths son of Luke Skywalker (hence the fascination with his Grand-daddy) and Rey will be the daughter of Han and Leia. The end of Part XIII will be a reflection of Empire where it will be revealed that they are brother and sister on opposing sides. Kylo Killing Han will add in conflict between the two characters and Luke will probably end up sacrificing his life to save Rey in part IX to even it out and set a clean slate for the majority of new characters if they decide to continue the stories into part X and more....

Maybe someone else has said the same thing or something along the same lines already.

Good theory, but they would be cousins, not bro and sis if that were the case.

I think they will both be Han and Leia's kids, and after Han dies Luke will attempt to turn Kylo like he did Vader. I believe he will be successful, and Kylo will eventually help defeat the real Big Bad by the end of the trilogy.

I know most don't like this idea, but now that I think of it I think it would be a pretty cool reveal during Episode IX that the person behind ALL of this was a Palpatine clone or some other kind of Force reincarnation of him. It would bring things full circle, and if they could keep it secret (a VERY tough task) would be incredible!

Edit to add: I do not consider these spoilers since this is all just my own ideas.
