Agreed. It's very much a version of the new 52 Batman crossed with the one from The Dark Knight Returns.

The best new features are the big emblem and the fact that the mask and the cape appear to be one piece...although a closer inspection reveals that the cape is almost seamlessly tucked under the mask.

I have never been a fan of short ears on Batman but this works because of the obvious nod to Miller's version.

I don't hate the short ears but I'd prefer if they were a tad longer. I actually think most of the live action cowls have looked fine with the ears personally. Not too short or long, just kind of in between.

I thought that Affleck was an interesting choice and i never had any qualms about it. I am actually really pleased that they are going for more of a comic book style to the outfit and car. I liked the Nolan style, but i was hoping they would go back to its roots a little bit more with this. I am actually starting to get more interested in this project now.

Meh, I've just never really been the biggest fan of that look for the cowl's ears. Honestly the logo being huge bothers me more. The costume is one of those things though that seeing it in motion it might look better. I wasn't the hugest fan of Superman's new suit at first either but I don't hate it now.

Well everyone has their preferences. When it's a character that's been around a long time and has had various looks it's easy to get attached to a certain look. I'm not even really complaining about it that much, I'm just giving an opinion on it. I honestly don't hate how the suit in general looks I just wish some things about it were different. I just had something different in mind when it was said that the look was more comic influenced.
