Still seems kind of "off" that they're going to reboot Batman in a Superman and Batman movie. I would think they would want to at least do a solo Batman flick before teaming him up with Superman.

I would think it would be better to do Superman I (Man of Steel)-Batman I-Superman II-Batman II, with maybe a Green Lantern movie and Wonder Woman movie thrown in there somewhere, and then do a Superman and Batman movie that leads into Justice League. Then do Superman III-Wonder Woman II-Batman III-Flash-Green Lantern II-Justice League II.
At the speed WB is going with this I don't so.

True dat.

It's really sort of amazing the way Marvel pulled off the Avengers project with no less than three studios involved.

And then you have Warners, which owns all of DC Comics, and they can't seem to get anything done. Except for Nolan's Batman trilogy, though that was more of a Chris Nolan thing than a DC Comics thing.

Three studios? Are you talking about Paramount and Universal doing distribution?

DC/Warner desperately needs a Kevin Feige.

How much would Feige be worth to Marvel? The guy is a great businessman from what we've seen. Taking risks and tends to succeed with it, big and small. Not afraid to test new and unknown. Man, we need a Feige for WB/DC.

Like you, I've only seen her in Thor (And the first Rest Stop) I'll be re-visiting Thor sometime this week in prep for Dark World...See if I'll notice a height difference this time around.

I actually wasn't even thinking of her height. I was thinking body type.

I think Kevin Feige is 1A and Joss Whedon is 1B in the MCU

BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN Eyes Adam Driver as Nightwing

It looks like Nightwing is set to make his live-action feature film debut in Zack Snyder’s Batman vs. Superman, and Warner Bros. is eyeing Adam Driver (Girls) for the part. The report calls Driver the frontrunner for the role, which is described as being Batman/Bruce Wayne’s (Ben Affleck) estranged partner, Dick Grayson. Grayson took on the Nightwing moniker to go off on his own crime-fighting adventures after being taken under Batman’s wing as his side-kick, Robin, but this iteration finds the former dynamic duo apart for a number of years. The 29-year-old, 6’3″ Driver certainly fits the part of the solo do-gooder, and it remains to be seen just how frosty the relationship is between the crime-fighter and his former mentor. Hit the jump for more.

Yeah, Nightwing is the least believable rumor yet.

Its funny how all these rumors go flying around and they all claim to have an "inside source."

Does the movie industry have more moles leaking this crap than CTU?

I think the "inside source" on 95% of these rumors are someone's ass. You can pull anything out of your ass and claim its true.

Yeah, this is almost Michael Bay level disinformation at this point. At least that's what I heard from an inside source that's close to the production.

DC and Warner really need to cool it with all these characters if you ask me. With rumors of a possibly Wonder Woman and Flash cameo already and now a Dick Grayson that's just too damn much. The reason that the Marvel films worked well is that they gradually worked up to introducing everyone and didn't just throw everyone together right away.

DC and Warner need to cool it? These are all unconfirmed rumors, man. All this stuff could easily be fake as hell. Its not DC's fault idiots pull shit out of their ass and say they have an "inside source" claiming its all true.

Well maybe just maybe DC doesn't want to copy what Marvel did and do something different.

Right but the way they were talking not too far back with wanting to jump start right into a Justice League film I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they'd be stupid enough to try and do it. It could all just be false information but they seem pretty desperate to try and catch some of Marvel's thunder so you never know.

Thing is though the way Marvel did it was a good course of action if you ask me. Rather than trying to just put a bunch of characters on screen all together at one time and having it turn into a gigantic mess they took their time with it and built it up. We all know that putting a bunch of characters on screen while seemingly a cool idea doesn't always turn out for the best.

Not really. Saw him on that show Girls. The guy looks young.

All he has to do is pack on some muscle. Taylor Lautner wasn't exactly Mr. Muscle before New Moon.

Adam Driver? No thank you but Nightwing is one of my least favorite DC characters anyway.
