Again... WB needs a Feige. Who the fuck is running the whole DC movie universe?

Yeah true with audiences captivated by DC movies such as Green Lantern, Cat Woman and Jonah Hex. I know Marvel has its failed movies (this i would attribute to the production companies rather than Marvel), but the majority of its characters have far more interesting dynamics than the those of DC. Case in point this year was Iron Man 3 making substantially more money than the Superman reboot. Arguably DC's number one character of all time getting beat out by a Marvel character that 10 years ago would certainly not have been ranked in the top 5 on their rooster. Characters in the DC universe just seem very old fashioned and out of touch, hence their trying to reboot the universe in the comics. From what i have read even that has failed.
So i have hope that DC can make good movie transitions of their characters, at this stage i am far more interested in seeing where the Marvel universe is headed.

C'mon, Iron Man 3 was working with The Avengers bump, and Man of Steel was a reboot of a reboot/fake sequel Superman Returns, so what did people expect from Man of steel, $400m+ domestically? Get real.
Plus just because crappy comic movies were made based on DC comic book characters doesn't make the characters inherently uninteresting. There's a reason Batman Begins performed better than Batman and Robin.

Well, Nolan was producer on MOS, I think they were hoping it'd be him, but that doesn't seem to be working out.

I wouldn't know. I have been a comic book fan since i was a child, but since movie studios have been seriously getting into the business of bringing comic book characters to the big screen i have found Marvels output to be generally more interesting. I do actually hope DC starts making great movies, i just always preferred Marvel characters. Thats not to say i dislike DC's.
So whilst you have not tried being a Marveldrone i see you have tried being obnoxious. Hows that working out for you?
Edit: I do see that you seem to have negative opinions on most Marvel movie threads whilst contributing to many dealing with DC's. A man who likes his heroes with their pants on the outside. Bless 'im.

Just don't tell him you didn't LOVE Man of Steel. I mentioned that I liked, but didn't love, it and he went to town on me. Along with about everyone else in the thread who didn't blow their loads over it.

I just re-watched Man of Steel on blu-ray yesterday and I completely changed my opinion from loving it to hating it. What a piece of bull
