Those bullet points aren't actually bad at all. It all depends on how organically it all develops in the movie. With Snyder back at the helm, I have my doubts. But the plot points are actually rather good/interesting.

Most of these seem like organic plot points that could naturally arise from the events of MoS.
The only potential problems I'm seeing
-Superman is more of a tangential character in all this. Pretty much a cypher. All the other characters seem to have defined goals, where it looks like Superman will be reacting to something or other the whole movie.
- which makes it less a Superman sequel and something else. Just drop the pretense of it being MoS:2 and brand it something else entirely.
-Batman working with the UN is a situation that would have been at home in the West TV show. If he's going to be a sanctioned, basically deputized law enforcer (which is really all he could be because the Feds would shut his schtick down in a heartbeat otherwise), then the material has to realize it's not "dark & gritty". They are going to try to get away with that of course, but making a UN adjunct someone who runs around in a Bat-themed Halloween costume is pretty silly stuff. At very least they are going to need to drop the angst and brooding and just worry about hitting the plot points entertainingly.

I agree, they don't seem that bad to me either. But it seems like a lot of characters and plot points, however small, to be introduced in the movie and establish them well enough for audiences.

At this point I don't buy any of the rumors.

Any chance this delay was cooked up knowing it would likely push Ben out of the picture?
The script isn't where he would like it to be? Ahem, he is a performer here, not the filmmaker.

And that means he can't say that the script sucks? I think he'd be in the best position as an actor and a WB darling to say that it sucks, if it does...which it most likely may cuz it's Goyer.

That would make absolutely no sense. Why would Warner want to push out Affleck who is a pretty big name actor and who they made a pretty big deal out of being the new Batman? If anything that just makes this movie look bad that one of the lead actors would choose to drop out. Him saying the script sucks and threatening to quit if true is likely because he doesn't want to be involved in a shit project, especially when he already was involved with a superhero film that wasn't well received. Plus he's turned into a pretty good filmmaker and I think his input could be pretty valuable to the project so I don't see why they'd want to ignore suggestions he has.

Warner is afraid of losing the nerds' ticket sales. The whole internet bitched aout Afflec so they found a way to get rid of him and try to save face.

WB knew all this when they signed him up to be Batman.

At Ben's level of power and stardom in Hollywood at the moment, he gets to call the shots on script approval. These rumors indicate to me that he thinks the script is garbage and needs more work. I am all for him pushing out Goyer and getting his own people into the process.
WB knew all this when they signed him up to be Batman.

I seriously doubt that they care what the people who post in Internet message boards think, the percentage of us is hardly large enough to dent the box office, and the average viewer doesn't care.

That plus people on internet message boards always bitch about everything anyway. If internet message boards had existed back in the 70s, people would have been bitching about Christopher Reeve being cast to play Superman.

Affleck already delayed his next directorial effort to shoot GONE GIRL for David Fincher. I'm wondering if the delay will push his next movie back even more. I wouldn't be shocked if he was considering leaving the project, but he'd be kissing goodbye a pretty big payday.

If the rumors are true about Affleck not liking the script, I'll trust his judgment over Zack Snyder's any time. Affleck knows what true filmmaking is about, Snyder is basically a big budget video game director.

Not to mention Justice League and Warner Brothers willing to produce (finance) anything he wants.

Gal Gadot Begins Batman Vs Superman In May, Signed For Three Movies As Wonder Woman
This is pretty obvious news, I think, but now Gal Gadot has confirmed that her contract as Wonder Woman is for three films (so far) at Warner Bros. Batman News found a new interview she did in her native Israel where she also reveals she will be paid $300,000 for the role, at least for the first film.
She’ll be introduced in Zack Snyder’s Batman Vs Superman, in a supporting role, and presumably have a larger presence (and probably a larger paycheck) for the next film, probably Justice League and then… what? Dare we hope for a Wonder Woman solo film?
Gadot also reveals in the interview that she’ll begin filming Batman Vs Superman in May, though since she has a small part, that doesn’t really tell us much about the production schedule for more principal players like Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill. They will probably be filming before she gets there and after she’s done.
