Much much less than any other class I've played. And I don't even have feign death yet! Heck, she's very rarely even HIT by a mob. I can't say that for any other class.

I maintain that Hunters are the easiest class to solo.

(As for the new thread, I don't want to start it because I don't want to maintain it...I be LAZY)
I find this to be completely true, as in my point of view, Hunters are one of the best classes to play for PvE.

I'll make a thread if no one else wants to maintain it, after work tonight.

i kind of regret making a hunter. Not because of these changes (although that certainly doesn't make it better), but because of how bad they are in PvP, or so i've heard.

I have a level 20+ character in Warrior, Hunter, Warlock, and Priest and I think i was swayed towards Hunter because of how easy it is to solo. I'd go back to one of my other characters, but all my friends are in Horde (which is where my 24 level hunter is), so i feel like id' ahve to start a new one on that sever. I guess you get what you pay for.

I started a NE warrior last night. Since I hate the NE lands, I ran him (at level 1) all the way to Stormwind. He actually got enough xp just from exploring that he leveled, without having killed a single enemy.

I died once to the crocodiles outside of Menethil (in one bite, I might add), but the rest of the way is smooth sailing.

Hunters are pretty bad in 1v1 PvP. But in a big battle they are more valuable because they can still be ranged damagers.

My characters (for the new thread):

Ohcuorg (Level 45 Troll Shaman, Feathermoon[RP])
Sarsa (Level 18 Tauren Hunter, Firetree[PvP])
Oppez (Level 15 Gnome Warlock, Feathermoon[RP])

If anyone makes a new horde PvP character, they should do it on Lightnings Blade, so i can have a friend.

How often do vendors get a new supply of items? Like, i went to get an axe that the vendor has "1" supply of. When does this reset so i can look again and see if he has it.

I would do it, but I am the same way. If no one cares I will try to put together one tonight when I get home from work.

EDIT: ok after multiple attempts I can't anything to work so I give up.

On a side note anyone out there on Cenarius that has or could make me a minor elixor of lesser agility. At least that is what I think it is called, I haven't been able to find it to buy anywhere and AH wants 30s for one potion. Maybe that is the going rate but I don't know what it actually costs to make but it is a fairly low level skill on the alchemy profession

I got an awesome buy at the AH yesterday. I've been keeping my eye out for the pattern for Phoenix Gloves (give a + for fire spell damage). Usually they go for atleast 60silver. Yesterday someone had one listed for 2 silver with a buyout of 4 silver. total deal. Now if only i had a good source for iridesent pearls.

The reason the price is so high is two fold:

1. It's an ingredient in a popular Leatherworking recipe (which is probably why you want it).

2. The recipe is drop-only and can't be bought from vendors.

anyone have problems with instances last night?
I was in scarlet monastery last night and our entire group would get booted constantly. Other groups in SM also experienced the same thing.

I got lucky with the AH last week with my PVP lvl 22 orc shaman. I logged on late one night and was able to pick up the formula for the Icy Chill weapon enchantment for a 2g buyout. I turned around and sold it a few days later for 15g.

I've been working on a little project with my main character (lvl 60 NE rogue) which I finally completed last nite. I've spent the last week gathering materials to have a Heartseeker made. Here are the stats below:

Heartseeker
Binds when equipped
Unique
One-Hand Dagger
49 - 92 Damage Speed 1.70
(41.5 damage per second)
+4 Strength
Requires Level 58
Passive: Improves your chance to get a critical strike by 1%.

Man, the materials for this dagger are insane.
10x Arcanite Bar, 10x Enchanted Thorium Bar, 2x Enchanted Leather, 6x Star Ruby, 6x Azerothian Diamond, 6x Large Opal, 4x Dense Grinding Stone
That was a crazy week of bargain hunting for all the materials. I tracked down a blacksmith that was kind enough to make the dagger for free. Now it's time to round up the materials for the Lifestealing weapon enchant.

New patch today (1.3.1)

Very small, with a couple critical bug fixes that cropped up since last week.

someone (who isnt me) could put one together by just cutting and pasting what each person's characters/realms/info and putting after their dvdtalk user name.

When I put together tables for the HSX threads, I made them in Excel and exported to HTML. Worked pretty well.

Ok I will try that tonight since I just got home. I do promise though I will create Horde characters just to come and kill you all if I get this working and no one uses it

EDIT: I am done and over it. I give up. This is just one of many things I can't get to work right that I have done before and no matter what I do it won't work. Now I am off to figure out why my computer refuses to boot off floppy or cd.

So i have a couple new characters after my normal 2 realms were down for a while yesterday. I first created a Gnome Warlock on Centeras (whatever the offical dvdtalk server is) named Daveninja. got him up to level 2, getting ready for the "next" dvdtalk-wow meeting. I then created an Undead Rogue on the same server. i forgot how fun rogues are. I have him up to level 6 already. I wanted to level up the gnome warlock, but i'm sick of the early level alliance areas. My rogue's name is Deatho, which i was surprized wasnt taken. I thought many the naming bug was letting me have it, but its still there today (they said they fixed the naming bug).
What was funny was when i created both characters i was able to get onto Ceneras easily around 4 PST, there were tons of people in the starting areas, it looked like a war was going on. Lots of people creating Alts since they're normal characters' realms were locked out. A couple hours later i tried to log in as my alt and had to sit in the queue til 400 people left (about ten minutes). This morning its back to instant log in.

on that server if you're alliance, add 'Daveninja' (gnome warlock level 2) to your friends list; if horde add 'Deatho' (level 7 undead rogue)

An item i found that i can figure out: I'm a tauren warrior level 16 out killing lions in the barrens. I get a green item, its mail armor chest-piece with a +1 spirit(or many stamina) and +1 intellect. It requires level 12 (or 14) to wear. Who is this armor aimed toward? Warriors are the only horde class that can wear mail below level 40. Why would a warrior ever want an intellect bonus? No shaman is going to wear this crappy of armor at level 40. If it was alliance i could see a paladin being interested in it for the mana boost from the intellect bonus.

Intellect makes your skills training go faster. Really good at that level if you are branching out to different weaponry.
