I used to love Marble Madness, and this looks like a cool modern update on that type of game.

Mercury's good, but has problems.
Lots of loading (About 45 seconds to load the "company logo" screen when you start it up, and another 10-15 to load the main menu after that. Each level takes ~10 seconds to load (Which is a lot when a levels 4 seconds long!))
Other problem, the games short. An hour or so in, I'm 33% done, and dont really want to replay the levels over
Levels are either very short and easy, or insanely frustrating (To the point you just want to hit something after you spend a minute guiding the blob around, only to have a little bit of it 'drip off the edge' and have to start over.
I like it though, even with its problems. $30 is a MUCH better price for it though, when so many other great g ames are out.

More Than Half A Million PSPs Sold
Does your mother have one?
by David Adams
April 7, 2005 - Woo, woo, Sony, and good on ya: the company announced today that, during its first week on North American shores, the PlayStation Portable generated more than $150 million in sales. Sony says more than 500,000 PSP Value Packs were sold in the system's first two days alone.
The sales figures, Sony claims, trounce the first-week performance of any comparable product. Quick translation: the PSP is a hit.
Introduced in North America on March 24, the PSP is Sony's bold entry into the handheld gaming market. The system (in case you've miraculously managed to miss it so far) features a vibrant, high-resolution display, built-in wireless, and a serious gaming processor -- among many other bells and whistles. For the full picture, check out all our coverage on IGN PSP.

Impressive. Geez If this was sold around Christmas I wonder what the numbers would have been.

Edit: I went ahead and ordered one from Dell over the phone. The estimated ship date is 4/25/05, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Well, I picked up a PSP yesterday and it's pretty damn cool. The bad part is that I have dead pixels. The good part is they are down in the bottom left hand corner and you can only see them when the screen is full white. I picked up Twisted Metal and have been having fun with that.
Since mine wasn't one of the first million I didn't get the Spiderman 2 movie disc. So if anyone got one and is willing to part with it for a fair price, please email me.
