Alright, I'm already confused. I thought there was only 1 version(pack), what is the difference?

There is only one version.. that comes packed with a bunch of crap of which only the memory stick is of any real use (at least in my eyes). As far as finding a used PSP, crappy chain stores like Gamestop will usually only sell the unit itself but if you have a non-Gamestop/EB shop in your area you may be able to find a used one with all the pack-in crap for the same price (usually $199).

The headphones and wired remote are useful. You could always use another cleaning cloth. But the rest (cheap bag and demo disc) are useless. Too bad I missed out on Spider-man 2 UMD as it was free and I would have preferred to have it. Still, my birthday is in Sept so I had to wait.

Yeah, the extras are definetly not $50 or even $30 worth. As stated above..the headphones do the job, nothing great. That is about all that is exciting. I've yet to use the wired remote.

I still enjoy my PSP...definelty a good time killer on trips

Okay. Thanks for clearing that up. I thought there was only one, that was why it threw me for a loop.

Capcom is making a new Ghouls 'n Ghosts title for PSP! Classic side-scrolling with 3D polygons (ala The New Mario Bros).

http://psp.ign.com/articles/646/646948p1.html
August 31, 2005 - Capcom classic Ghouls 'n Ghost series is set for a revival, the latest issue of Famitsu reveals. The magazine is home to the unveiling of Goku Makaimura, a title that can be translated to English as Extreme Ghouls 'n Ghosts. And thank the makers -- specifically, director Tokurou Fujiwara, who's also considered the father of the series -- it's not a port!

Goku Makaimura is an all new entry in the series specifically designed for the PSP. The game makes use of a 3D graphics engine, giving depth to the visuals. Those who remember the original games (the last true entry appeared in 1991) will be pleased to learn that the PSP version still looks like one would expect of the series thanks to similar art direction.
Damn, this is honestly the first PSP game that makes me actually want to own the system...

Wasn't Maximo a sequel to Ghouls & Ghosts or did I get the wrong memo?

Spiritual successor, not sequel.

- Famitsu reported that Capcom is working on Street Fighter Zero 3: Double Upper and Extreme Ghouls n' Ghosts for PSP. Street Fighter Zero 3 Double Upper is based on the arcade version of Street Fighter Zero 3: Upper, with additional playable characters from Capcom Fighting Jam, such as Ingrid; as well as versus battle over WiFi.
Hell. Yes. Wait, no. Please give us a current console version!! ARGH!

Sony is reporting sales of 17 million UMD movies. They expect movie sales to hit 60% and games to dwindle to 40%. Hell, I just bought Evil Dead today for $9.99 after a 5 dollar of certificate. I own 14 right now and only 3 games. Using the movie/browser functionality at work is rad, but my iPOD and DS are right by my side.

I've got a question : Is there any site with pre-made custion skins or templates for the Logitech case for the PSP. It's designed to be customizable and I'd love to pimp mine up a little, but my google searches come up with nothing but reviews and press releases for the case. Anyone able to help?

Yet ANOTHER wipeout pack!!!

Why can't other games be supported this well? www.wipeoutpure.com

"Classic Pack 2"

Blurring the lines between the real and the virtual, this pack features immersive recreations of the mid-22nd century evolutions of the classic Odessa Keys and Porta Kora tracks. Also in this download are skins in the colors of the Tigron and Van Uber teams – a must have for the fans of those F9000 Anti-Gravity racing league contenders.

Thanks for the skins, edstein. I think I'll go with the R&C + Jak double on page 33. That is an impressive thread.

The games are region free, but UMD movies are not.

However, I do not think two games from different regions will work together for wi-fi play. I can't confirm that though.

For some reason the DVDtalk search function is showing up disabled on me.

1GB Gaming Memory Card Duo $82 - $20 rebate = $62 (Free Shipping)

http://www.buy.com/retail/product.as...736&adid=17662

I already have one, but tempted to get a second for that price...although, not sure how reliable the rebate is. (Plus, how much storage do I need for my PSP)
