The only song that completely caught me off-guard on sightread was Don't Cha Stop, which requires quick fingers and strumming. Otherwise, they are pretty straight forward with some tricky parts thrown in. My favorite songs of the CD (You're All I've Got Tonight, My Best Friend's Girl) are also my favorites so far to play. Also of note for folks who haven't liked the charting of organ/piano in past songs, the synth parts are not charted in any song.
I'm sure folks who are FC kings will be done with them by day's end, since I came close on a couple first time through, but these have a lot of replay value for me. And for folks wanting party songs, at least half of these qualify in spades.
I'll give them a shot on drums later. Vox should be a lot of fun, too.

Absolutely, I haven't played them yet but I can already anticipate these being top choices at parties, especially the big ones like "Just What I Needed." I hope we see some more packs like this (80s pop/rock) down the line, as they're great songs and most people know the lyrics to a lot of them, which helps when you're trying to convince someone to be the vocalist at your party

Just an update on the drums. If you are like me, a poor drummer who has hit the skill wall and needs a confidence boost, play these charts! Well, I've only played 4 so far, but for someone who doesn't completely spaz out, they are a very good intro to Expert. And they are very fun, so it's tougher to get frustrated when you continually choke on Overdrive phrases or screw up fills.
ETA: Premature. You're All I've Got Tonight is very challenging if you have a tough time with constant bass pedal.

Anyone done the rubber band mod for the guitar strummer?

My strummer is starting to feel a little loose and was wondering what my options were.

Best Friend's Girl
Just What I Needed
Trying to decide between these 3 and the album. There's too many song I don't recognize/remember at all I think for me to get the whole thing for $15.

And I am so glad I bought Hysteria by Muse. What a badass song. Now I have to buy an album of theirs.

After playing those 3, my favorite to play (although the easiest, by far) is Moving in Stereo. Best Friend's Girl is fun, probably the toughest. Just What I Needed is my favorite to listen to, but probably least favorite to play - still fun though.
I think The Cars in general are a better "listen to on the radio" band than "play in Rock Band" band. But still good tunes to play, the more classic rock the better, IMO.

Amazon doesn't have the Rock Band Special Edition for Wii with everything in one box for presale anymore.

All I Know is that I am kicking Uncle Gramps ASS in Moving in Stereo!
And that I've determined my red pad is bad and needs to be sent out. I can do a long roll on it, then for about 5 hits in a row, nothing will register

If you have a QM or SL set, you might find better success, as it seems plenty of others have. For us EL'ers, I wouldn't waste the $20.

BTW, what's the release order for the different drum kit models? I got the game on launch day and have a QM. Did EL and SL models come later, or were multiple models released simultaneously?

My set is a QM set - so that explains the red being an issue apparently.
