I'm in the NW and orders typically take about 2 weeks to get to me--10 business days. I have my theories about DeepDiscount taking so long with their "free shipping" orders.

Hey just wondering if anyone can help me out.
I ordered around $102 worth of stuff and with 20% off it came to around $80 to $85. I live internationally and of course shipping should be $12.95 as it fell under $100 but considering it was the discount it still thought it was over hence a shipping price of $16.95. So i emailed them and thought they would clear up the $4 dollars as i've heard people on this forum say that's all you should need to do as it is a computer mistake.
So i got their email back after about a week or so and got this response:
Here is what i said first:
Customer (i i) - 06/18/2008 08:13 PM
I just wanted you to fix up my order as you have charged me extra for
shipping. Due to the sale the order has fell below the $100 mark but
you have still charged me $16.95 for shipping when it should be
$12.95.
Could you please fix that up.

So they are now telling me that they won't give me the discount. Should i email back saying excuse me that is not the case I know of people who have been charged the discounted shipping rate. I wouldn't have cared so much but with their massive increase in shipping overseas they are totally screwing us over. What happens if my under was under $300 with the discount but without it would be over $300. So is it fair for them to charge me $99.95 for shipping even though with discount is should be $37.95.

I made 2 orders and got charged the wrong shipping both times.Finally after 3 emails they refunded my $7 for the first order but they have yet to refund me for the 2nd order and I'm on my 4th email to them.It's really annoying since the emails I get say that they don't do refunds for this when I know for a fact that they do because they just gave me one!

I received 2 of my Gilad DVDs which were ordered AFTER & shipped AFTER my Jillina DVD. Hmm..... wonder why those arrived first ? Well, anyway, I'm waiting on a total of 4 more DVDs, 3 shipments total to go. Oh wait, and hubby's order so taht makes 4 DVDs, 3 box sets.

Got my order today of Dirty Harry Special Edition and Blow, not impressed with the envelope they sent them in. It was a big bubble mailer that allowed them to slosh all around. Luckily this discs are fine, but the Dirty Harry case has a bit of dent and the Blow case is really warped. Not so impressed with the shipping but still a good deal.

Got in 4 titles today from 3 seperate orders from the week of the 10th (the backordered titles in those orders shipped last week).
The Evil Animals boxset had floaters that will have to be replaced. Customer service was very pleasant, so no big deal.

FINALLY got my order from 6/6 today! I ordered the Dirty Harry Ultimate Collection and got just the Dirty Harry SE. Poltergeist came without the slipcover so I guess they are no longer producing those. Sucks to wait 17 days and not get what I ordered.
