For those worried that the reshoots would amount to major plot changes to G.I. Joe: Retaliation, rest easy. Channing Tatum shot his scenes in a week and it all basically amounts to
Pretty lame but there you have it. Honestly, they could have done this right from the start.

From what I've read,
I'm guessing they either tacked a little something extra there as well or left the editing vague.
I wonder if they at least fixed the scene with Destro because both cuts (prior to the reshoot) I read about were stupid.
If not, this reshoot really was for a last minute conversion to 3D.
Yeah, I'm serious (and baffled). All they had to do was delay the film by a couple of weeks (a month at the most) in order to tack on that coda.
I guess that decision to delay it at the last minute for a 3D conversion was more real than anyone could have guessed. Although, I don't get why they didn't convert it much sooner (since they had stated they didn't want to go through the expense of shooting it it in 3D). After killing the marketing momentum for a film that's a sequel to a movie that made around $300 million worldwide, whoever approved all of this deserves to be fired.

Nothing really new or exciting but it's a new trailer for this film. Ugh. How much I wanted to see this thing when it was scheduled for this year.

Does anyone even care about this movie anymore? I'll be honest, after the delay, my interest has dropped to zero.

Yeah. My interest is pretty dead. The excitement is gone. I'll probably watch it but my excitement for it got all used up for no good reason now.

I find it interesting that that "new" trailer only features a handful of dialogue extentions but overall feels like the same trailer featured way back when but with the added "bonus" of more annoying fadeouts. And a curious lack of any mention whatsoever of tha all-important 3D conversion that made the massive delay so necessary.

Not surprising. The studios assume we're all morons who won't remember a trailer from last month, let alone last year. I'm sure they figured if the project went quiet for a while, then they ramped up the same campaign it would yield the same results Summer would've. They'll be lucky to crack $100m at this point.

Yeah, my interest is certainly diminished.
What's worse, I'm absolutely dreading having to sit through the next round of trailers. Movies have been ruined for me by starting the trailer cycle too early, and this is even worse.
